What Return Quarantine processes

The app processes the minimum Shopify order, refund, return, fulfillment, product, variant, inventory item and location references needed to detect premature restocking, move eligible inventory to quality control and maintain an audit trail. It does not intentionally request or store customer names, postal addresses, phone numbers or email addresses.

Purpose and legal role

Processing is limited to providing the inventory-protection service on behalf of the Shopify merchant. The merchant is the controller for store customer data; Warnowdigitalsolutions (Einzelunternehmen) acts as a processor where applicable.

Retention

• Completed webhook envelopes: 30 days.
• Resolved quarantine cases and audit entries: 365 days.
• Customer data-request exports: 30 days.
• Open quarantine cases: until resolved or the shop is redacted.

Shopify privacy webhooks can trigger earlier deletion. Customer redaction removes matching cases and all pending exports for the shop. Shop redaction deletes all shop data and sessions.

Hosting, security and subprocessors

Production data is hosted by Railway in EU West (Amsterdam, Niederlande). Data is encrypted in transit and must be encrypted at rest, including backups. Access is restricted to service operation and support.

Merchants can view generated Shopify data-request exports inside the app. Privacy questions can be sent to hallo@warnowdigitalsolutions.ch.

Return Quarantine verarbeitet nur die für Retouren- und Bestandsprüfung notwendigen Shopify-Referenzen. Kundennamen, Adressen, Telefonnummern und E-Mail-Adressen werden nicht absichtlich angefordert oder gespeichert. Die oben genannten Speicherfristen und Shopify-Lösch-Webhooks begrenzen die Aufbewahrung.
